CLEAN (Coastal Livelihood and Environmental Action Network) is committed to advancing climate justice by ensuring that the transition to a low-carbon future is fair, inclusive, and equitable. We work alongside coastal families, small farmers, fisherfolk, women, and youth communities that contribute the least to climate change yet bear its heaviest burdens to challenge fossil fuel dependency, promote renewable energy, and safeguard vital ecosystems such as rivers, forests, and coasts.

Beyond the national level, CLEAN actively collaborates with South Asian networks, broader Asia-regional platforms, and global alliances to amplify community voices, demand accountability from financial institutions, and influence climate and energy policies. Our vision of climate justice is rooted in the belief that environmental progress must be accompanied by social justice, ensuring sustainable livelihoods and a resilient future for all.
