Ashikur Rahman

Ashikur Rahman is a passionate Communication Officer at CLEAN. He proudly serves the communication team, working tirelessly to bring the environmental realities to the forefront. While his degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Khulna University gave him a strong foundation in narrative building, living in the South West coastal region is what truly opened his eyes. He realised that traditional media often overlooks the raw, messy truths of grassroots struggles, especially concerning climate impacts and energy access. This revelation fueled his drive to bridge the gap between field reality and digital strategy.

His background is just as dynamic as his current work. Before CLEAN, Ashik led diverse teams as Vice President of the Khulna University Career Club and spearheaded on-the-ground community initiatives such as Project Sarothi and Swanirvar Pathshala. Looking to the future, he is channelling all of this experience toward becoming a comprehensive communication strategist for Bangladesh's 'Just Energy Transition,' ultimately serving as a digital megaphone to turn the vital realities of coastal communities and sustainable energy into undeniable, high-impact stories that global policymakers simply cannot ignore.

To amplify the voices of those on the frontlines of climate change and advocate for sustainable energy, Ashikur specializes in translating complex environmental issues into compelling visual stories. He relies on a modern, versatile toolkit that spans video production, graphic design, generative AI workflows, and web management.
