Mahfuz Ur Rahman

Mahfuz Ur Rahman is a passionate researcher in the field of environmental management and sustainability. He has a history of working in this domain since 2022. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Forestry from Khulna University, Bangladesh, and an M.Sc. degree in Agroforestry from Bangladesh Agricultural University.

Mahfuz has worked closely on projects related to marginal communities in southern Bangladesh. This provides him a strong connection to these communities, urging him to act in their betterment. Having an interest in environmental sustainability and community well-being, Mahfuz is currently working for Coastal Livelihood and Environmental Action Network (CLEAN) in the conjunction of energy and its impact on human life, i.e., energy transition, green energy, climate justice, and environmental sustainability.

Outside his career and academics, Mahfuz loves cycling, gaming, travelling at the buffer of hills and sea, and listening classic, folk, and country songs.
