SK Reason
Senior Research Officer
S. K. Reason is a dedicated and enthusiastic environmental researcher with more than 3 years of professional experience focusing on climate change, renewable energy, and power and energy sector data analysis. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in environmental science from Khulna University, Bangladesh.
Over the course of his career, Reason has contributed to a range of impactful projects, including those funded by prominent organizations such as the TARA Climate Fund and Thousand Currents. His work spans diverse thematic areas, including the promotion of renewable energy solutions, sustainable management of coastal regions, water pollution control, and water management.
Previously, he worked with NACOM, where he played a key role in implementing the project titled “Roadmap Preparation for Developing a Skilled Workforce in Energy Efficiency and Grid-Connected Renewable Energy for Bangladesh up to 2041.” In this role, he was actively engaged in research, strategic planning, and stakeholder coordination to strengthen the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) ecosystem in the renewable energy sector.
Currently, he is working as a Research Officer at Coastal Livelihood and Environmental Action Network (CLEAN). He is working dedicatedly in the power and energy sector in Bangladesh.
